The state of Georgia has scheduled the execution of Willie James Pye for Wednesday, March 20, at 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Pye has an intellectual disability and an IQ of 68. In 2002, the U.S. Supreme Court determined that executing people with intellectual disabilities is unconstitutional. Yet, Georgia remains a lone outlier with an unreasonably high standard of proof to prove intellectual disability – beyond a reasonable doubt.

Please take action today to send a message to the Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles that Georgians value the lives of all, especially the most vulnerable.

Sign the petition to grant clemency and stop the execution of Willie James Pye.
